  We LOVE this place! This is the second time we've stayed at Vista d'Mar, and both times we have had the same great experience. They are far and away the CLEANEST places we have stayed on the Oregon Coast. What you see in the photos is what you get. A cozy place to stay with comfortable, CLEAN beds (we've stayed in some places on the coast where there's been hair and sand in the beds!), nicely stocked kitchens, and carpet so clean you don't mind taking your shoes off. We've stayed in both a studio and a one bedroom unit, and both were great with different advantages to each. With the studio room you have the benefit of being able to see and hear the ocean right from your bed. With the one bedroom, there's more room to move around, and a larger kitchen. Teresa was wonderful to work with, and super accommodating for us with a last minute booking (Some places on the coast won't let you book same day). Vista d'Mar is centrally located in Lincoln City, so you're close to everything - within walking distance to many things downtown. It's right around the corner from a beach access that is a VERY popular spot. It's one of the few, if not the only place, in Lincoln City where you can drive onto the beach. On the weekends it gets pretty busy, and some trucks can be a little loud (but the ocean drowns out most of the sound). However, it can be rather entertaining to people watch from the balcony, cliff-top vantage point. Lots of vans, cars and trucks get stuck trying to get on and off the beach, and you could spend much of the day watching people dig and push their way out. None of it, however, takes away from the beauty of the ocean, and the views from the balcony are spectacular. Without question this is the best place we have stayed on the Oregon Coast!
